Winter Technologies Group (WTG) organized the first international WTG FOOTBALL CUP tournament in Perm. This was the third time the major community sporting event was held in the regional capital, but this year the tournament became international: apart from 10 Russian teams, WTG participants and partners, the football battles were joined by colleagues from Belarus.

Competitors in the qualifying games were the teams of Sintez (Moscow), UZPM (Krasnokamsk), Bionord (Perm), NGT (Perm), Polyex (Perm), Galopolimer (Perm), Galopolimer (Kirovo-Chepetsk), BSZ (Berezniki), Metafrax Chemicals (Gubakha), Goznak (Krasnokamsk) and Belaruskali (Soligorsk). This tournament began as an excuse to escape the stuffy offices and workshops of our enterprises to play football and socialize. Now our tournament is turning into a real festival of sports, the Industrial Enterprises Cup. It motivates us all to new achievements and new victories. Sports and business today are similar: there are rules, respect to the rival and partner, fans and referees. In the long run, the most important uniting force is heartfelt love and joy of the business you do," said the organizers of the sports event.

The distinguished guests of the international tournament were Tatyana Chesnokova, Minister of Sports of Perm Krai, and Valery Chuprakov, president of Amkar-Perm Football Club. They emphasized social focus of WTG and its substantial contribution in support of sports in Perm Krai.

Although the very name of Winter Technologies Group alludes to winter sports, the group supports and actively develops the Olympic sports in the region: basketball 3X3, professional football, as well as soccer among neighborhood teams, helps the Parabadminton school and novice hockey players from the Krasnaya Zvezda ice hockey club. Importantly, in this activity WTG uses support of its partners who implement socially significant sports projects in their districts and regions.

The main sensation of WTG FOOTBALL CUP 2022 tournament was a visit of the legendary football player, forward of Zenit St. Petersburg and the Russian national team Andrei Arshavin. He supported the players of the teams on the tribune and gave a training for all young football fans.

В финале пермский «Бионорд» уступил лишь один мяч в битве за кубок и обладателем почетного трофея стала команда «Беларуськалий». 

Организаторы турнира выразили уверенность, что турнир приобретет статус ежегодного Кубка промышленных предприятий.
