WTG TO SUPPORT AMKAR-PERM FOOTBALL CLUB
Perm Krai Governor Dmitry Makhonin on behalf of the regional government, Winter Technologies Group (WTG) and Amkar-Perm football club signed a tripartite agreement on sponsorship support.
As emphasized by the head of Prikamye, regional authorities continue to pursue systematic revival of Amkar football club. "For every resident of Perm Krai, Amkar is associated with a history of sports success and loyalty of fans. We want to bring life back to the football stands of Perm and Prikamye, and we want to build a system for training professional football players in the region. We are really committed to doing it. Once again, we are grateful to the company which was the first to offer help to our legendary football club," said Governor Dmitry Makhonin.
Signing of the document secures the intent of the regional authorities and the first official sponsor to support and assist the team in its development.
"Football is the most popular sport. Amkar is known and remembered all over the country. That is why we accepted the offer to become a part of the club with gratitude, responsibility and pride," said Dmitry Pylev, Director General of WTG managing company. "I wish success to the club management and the players in this first important season, and on our part, we will do everything that is necessary."
The club has ambitious goals for the entrance to the National Football League, its second most important division. Valery Chuprakov, president of FC Amkar-Perm, is confident that the task will be accomplished within two years. "Any endeavor needs confidence, and our confidence is guaranteed by reliable partners. The agreement signed today creates a reliable background," said Valery Chuprakov.
